IMDB rating: 5.10 Plot: Kelsey Grammer lends his voice to this version of the classic fairy tale “Swan Lake.” Featuring Tchaikovsky’s music, this animated movie stars Barbie as Odette, a baker’s daughter lost in the Enchanted Forest, where she’s turned into a swan by the evil magician Rothbart. The Fairy Queen helps by allowing Odette to stay human, but only at night. Can Odette save the Forest from Rothbart? And will the Prince still love her, even if she’s half-swan? |

Non-scary movies for girls?
I’m wanting to buy a few movies for my nieces for Christmas and had already purchased Barbie: Swan Lake and Barbie: The Nutcracker. However, my brother-in-law just told me that the girls are afraid of the Barbie movies because of the scary villains in them.
The girls are age 3 years old and 6 years old.
What are some non-scary movies, so no villain movies geared towards girls that age? Something that is princess genre or ballet genre.
Thanks!!!!

Apparently all Disney movies scare them too. This sucks.

All these sort of movies have a villain. They need to get over it.

Seriously? I watched them when I was about… 6-8 years old? I LOVED them, especially Barbie and the Nutcracker.
Uhmm… try Hello Kitty? They had a DVD where there Hello Kitty actors [the DVD was a cartoon] were acting out Cinderealla, Goldie Locks, etc. I watched it all the time, non stop, haha.

The least scary Disney movie would probably be Pocahontas! Everyone’s human, no really really scary monsters. But Cinderella, and the Little Mermaid probably wouldn’t frighten them!
